Old time drovers Tad and Buster, whose exploits we occasionally review in these pages, are ever anxious for a bit of extra income and applied for jobs as truck drivers. Tad opened the conversation,
"I'm Tad and this my partner, Buster; when I drive at night, he sleeps."
The interviewer said, "All right, I'll give you an oral test. It's three o'clock in the morning. You're on a little bridge and your truck is loaded with nitroglycerin. All of a sudden a truck comes toward you at about 80 miles per hour. What's the first thing you do?"
Tad replied, "I wake up my partner, Buster. He never saw a wreck like that before ..."
