The young woman had recently undergone somewhat of a religious transformation. Accordingly, she sought the advice of her pastor on a matter of great urgency.
Said she, "Preacher, I need advice to overcome grievous sin."
"What is it, child?"
"I have committed the sin of vanity. Twice a day I gaze at myself in the mirror and tell myself how amazingly beautiful I am."
The preacher turned, took a good look at the girl, and replied,
"My dear, I have good news. That isn't a sin - it's only a mistake."
---------------A Final Thought ...
"A large part of mankind is angry not with the sins, but with the sinners."
- Seneca (c. 5 BC–AD c. 65), Roman writer, philosopher, statesman. De Ira, bk. 2, sct. 28
