The parents, much afflicted by the wayward tendencies of their young son, determined that summer camp through the local church was just the thing. Amidst considerable protests, the youth took his place with the rest of the happy campers.
When camp had concluded, the boy returned home and immediately began listing its failings in great detail.
"Besides," he continued, "camp was a really bad influence on me."
"How so?" questioned his parents.
"The kids we heard about in bible times just seem to have started out bad," said he.
"That's hard to believe."
"Why, just this morning," the boy explained, "we read that 'Job cursed the day he was born' ..."
