The young boy's mother was much afflicted with flu. Feeling the need for spiritual support, he sought out the church located a short distance from his home in the western town where the family lived.
The pastor knew the family and was aware they had been attending another church down the road.
"Shouldn't you be asking Brother Simon down the road to come by to pray with your ma?"
The young boy replied,
"Yup, but we didn't want to take the chance that he might catch whatever it is that ma has ..."
