The man had become very religious over the years, and eventually appealed to philosophy for help in answering the questions of the ages. While conversing with several like-minded disciples, he happened to remark,
"Our master is so pious that he talks to the Almighty."
"Is that so?" said his fellow. "How do you know that?"
"He told us so himself" replied the man.
"But maybe he lied ..."
"Preposterous! Would a man who talks to the Almighty tell lies?"
