A revenuer once stopped at a remote cabin deep in the hills. After knocking for some time a small boy finally answered.
"Son," said he, "I'll give you a dollar if you take me to see your father."
"I'll take you," agreed the little boy. "But you'll have to give me the dollar first."
"No," insisted the revenuer. "When I get back I'll give it to you."
"Look, mister," said the kid. "If I take you to my old man's still you ain't a comin' back ..."
