Three fellows were engaged in one of those profitless conversations that involve all of us at one time or another. The question of the day was what each of them would do if the doctor told him he had but six months to live.
Said Robinson, "If my doctor told me I was down to six months I would liquidate my business, withdraw my savings, and have the biggest fling on the Rivera you've ever seen. I'd play roulette, eat like a king, and generally have fun."
Said Johnson, "I would go to a travel agency and plot an itinerary. There are lots of places I'd like to see in the world, and I'd see them all: Paris, the Taj Mahal, Tahiti, all of them."
Said Goldberg, "If my doctor said I had only six months to live the first thing I'd do would be to consult another doctor."
