The old lady was known for a lively, yet betimes unconventional sense of humor. As she lived on the same street as her son and his family, mail mix-ups were unavoidable.
One day one of her grandsons, home from college, received a letter from his girlfriend. To his chagrin, the envelope had been opened, and carefully taped shut again. Across the front his grandmother had written:
"Delivered incorrectly. Opened accidentally. Enjoyed thoroughly ..."
