Throughout the country various "high-tech" commercial regions have been established. Here companies that focus upon the latest and greatest feats of engineering wizardry congregate, usually owing to tax incentives or the availability of labor and other resources.
At one such up and coming firm the president was first to arrive at work in the morning. No sooner had he unlocked the door than he was summoned by a ringing telephone.
"I'd like the engineering department," proclaimed the caller.
"It's before our normal business hours and no one else is here," said the fellow. "Perhaps I can help."
"What's your job there?"
"I'm the president."
A few moments of silence followed, then the caller replied,
"I'll call back later. I need to talk to someone who knows something ..."
