Once, not so long ago, holiday traffic had reached yet another high water mark and a certain driver, accompanied by his six year old son, was slowly making his way home.

It happened that the driver beeped the horn by mistake. The boy glanced at his father inquiringly:

"I did that by accident," explained the dad.

"I know that, daddy."

"How'd you know?"

"Because you didn't mutter "jerk' afterward ..."
