The political race was too close to call, and the contenders were using all their available resources down to the last moments before the election. The incumbent's campaign manager was going over some last-minute details in preparation for a televised debate.
"Now, you're sure you know the words and phrases we gave you for each issue?" he asked.
"I know them, I know them," the candidate said. "Will you please stop worrying? I have a simple technique that will assure victory tonight."
"A simple technique?" replied the worried manager, "What is it?"
"I'm going to stick to the facts," the candidate said.
"What?" came the immediate response, "Have you no respect for tradition ..."
