Almost six years ago, my wife and I honeymooned in Washington, D.C. One of our tour guides shared with us two of his favorite questions from young people.
At the Capitol, he pointed to the top of the dome and the Statue of Freedom (a man pointing out). He said the statue was an "allegorical statue." A child replied,
"Does that mean it was made by Al Gore?"
At the Washington Monument (surrounded by 50 American flags, one for each state) a child looked and asked,
"How do you get the flags to all blow in the same direction?"
