A seasoned administrative assistant had endured years of trial with a highly irascible department head in a government office. Eventually she determined that enough was enough and sought another job.
During the interview several questions were asked, concluding with the following:
"In the position you now hold, do you have any decisions to make?"
"I certainly do," she replied. "Whenever my boss tells me to get that "miserable political yes-man" on the phone, I have to decide which one."
