Not long ago a fellow, much concerned about recession and general economic stability, determined to see how his associates were faring under similar circumstances, and so inquired of a co-worker,

"How do you spend your income?"

"Well, let's see," the man began, "I figure about 30 percent for shelter, 30 percent for clothing, 30 percent for food, and 30 percent for tax."

"But that adds up to 120 percent."

"That's right ..."
