The recent downdraft in technology stocks, together with interest rate uncertainty and general economic confusion has taught many an investor the meaning of fear. Everywhere people are reevaluating their holdings and trying to decide if this is only a temporary correction or if much darker days are forthcoming.
Amidst this turmoil one fellow sought out his financial advisor and asked if he was at all worried.
"My boy," came the reply, "I sleep like a baby."
Much encouraged and fully confident that some profound investment insight was about to be pronounced, the fellow continued earnestly,
"Really? Even with all the fluctuations?"
"Yes. I sleep for a couple of hours, then wake up and cry for a couple of hours ..."
