A salesman from New York disembarked from the ferry in Jersey City and walked up the street looking around questioningly. Finally he stopped two men asked,

"Say, fellows, do you know where the macaroni factory is located?"

One man gave an inquisitive look at his friend, but seeing no hope, turned to the salesman shaking his head,

"No, we don't know were the macaroni factory is."

The salesman started up the street to find someone else from whom he might obtain this information, but was overtaken by the men to whom he first addressed his inquiry.

"Say, maybe you mean the noodle factory?"

"Yes, yes, that's what I mean -- the noodle factory; where is it?"

"Well, that's what my friend and I began to think ... but we don't know were the noodle factory is neither ..."
